Any build that allows you to stay in the backline and let your party do all the work for you would be good.
There are ways of you getting the title easily with little to no danger on any profession if you have Factions, Nightfall or EotN.

I found Paraon's or Rits to be the easiest imo. Paragons>Rits
Paragon = lots of armor and ranged attack...great buffs make a team nearly invincible
Rits = You can basically leave noob island with Survivor...all the quests and back line spirit spamming. I personally enjoy getting the survivor title the "old fashioned" way of just playing through quests and missions with hero's henches, but it can be demoralizing going so far just to die. Good luck!

I never was able to get rits to work well for me
Anyway, I normally run a modded terra tank build on my ele in factions, but the first part off the island is always a problem

Paragons (high armor and ranged combat) and Dervishes (Faithful + Watchful Intervention FTW) are the easiest.

You should just go for it with whatever character you like the best. There are farming guides on how to easily get survivor. Easiest method if you have gw:en. Is to go outside boreal station and kill the wurms from long range since they only have melee attacks. If you beat it once then once you get to 20 you can use hardmode.

Any profession, get to lvl 10, get to Gunner's Hold in Eye of the North.
Do Killroy's Punchout 2nd dungeon over and over = survivor.

Paragon is the easiest because of the 'tank' armour, party buffs, "TN2F!", great DPS and insane energy management.
It's the safest bet for standard mission/quest grind.
Conversely, Assassins probably have the hardest time earning Survivor. It looks far more impressive on a sin.

Roll a monk for this title i recently just finished getting r3 with a monk char, it was rather easy and I didn't ever come close to dying. BUT I didn't just FFF this title I did all the missions and quests up to Droknar's Forge including the bonuses as well, and ascension. I capped all the elites in the desert and most of them in the southern shiverpeaks. I also played all through the factions campaign and capped many skills there as well. btw this character was Tyrian "born". As long as you just stay backline and be somewhat cautious this title is very simple, it's just a matter of patience.

Yah, as long as you have good melee in front, and a few heals, you should be able to get r3 survivor.

Any. whatever class you like best or whatever.
You've got Kilroy's dungeon and HM Snow Wurm farming, both near-failsafe ways to get Survivor on any profession.

Any profession will work for survivor, as long as you know what your doing. But of what I've noticed, the best profession for survivor WITHOUT farming xp *from HFFF, door FFF, etc* is paragon. My support for this is that they naturally stay in the back *less aggro*, they have the highest armor *max is 80*, they have some good energy management *through shouts and high Leadership*, and they have a reasonable amount of defensive/healing skills.
